Welcome to Mrs Hastings' Class

Welcome back to school, we hope you have had a lovely summer break. This year, our TA is Miss Nee.

Roman day for Year 4 will be on Wednesday 26th September all day.  Children are invited to dress in their best Roman outfit for a day immersed in history.

More information to follow regarding Junior Music Festival at the Hexagon on November 12th.  An amazing opportunity for children to participate in and perform to a large crowd.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Homework is given out on Wednesday and due in the following Monday. Children will have a spelling test every Monday.

Government guidelines suggest that children in Year 4 read daily for 10 minutes, spend 10 minutes weekly learning spellings and 15 minutes on each piece of Maths and English homework.

Our PE days are every Thursday and every other Monday. Please make sure your child has their full kit in school each week as we will do PE at other times.

Library day is on a Friday.

Year 4 are lucky to have Berkshire Maestros coming into school on a weekly basis between now and February to learn the Ukulele.  Before February half term there will be a performance to parents of all the songs we have learnt, we look forward to seeing you there!
