Peace Team

Welcome to the Peace Team site. Peace is not something you merely wish for: it's something you make, something you do, something you are and something you give away. That is why we are here to help.

Members:

Year 5 Team: Oliver, Ewan, Demi

Year 6 Team: Evan, Palak, Ursula, George

Events held in the Autumn Term included a second hand book sale in aid of Children in Need where children were asked to bring in books to sell that they no longer wanted. Over £200 was raised for this worthy cause. In December, we were visited by Courtney Ball who is about to set off to do voluntary work in Nepal with Raleigh International. She told us how she would be helping the people in Nepal rebuild their lives after devastating earthquakes in the country. To help raise money for this organisation, we held a Christmas Jumper Day which helped raise over £200. Courtney will be returning to school to tell us all about her experiences in Nepal later in the year.
