Morning:

The school gates are open from 8.30am to 8.45am. Children may arrive at anytime during this window and go straight into class.

At 8.45am the school gates will be locked. Anyone arriving after this time will need to go to the school office. If your child arrives in class after 8.55am, they will be marked as late.

Afternoon:

The school day ends at 3.20pm for all pupils. The gates will be opened 3.10pm to allow parents to be outside their child’s classroom ready for pick up.

Total time:

Over the course of a typical week at Micklands, children will spend 34 hours and 10 minutes in school (assuming that they arrive at 8.30am every morning).
